Not enough memory to start installation of Mcafee?

Am trying to install Mcafee on my kids pc from my account which tells me I have 3 remaining downloads of the program.

This is the message I keep getting:

"Your PC does not have enough memory to begin the installation. Your product requires 128MB of RAM."

I checked the C drive and it says that I have 15.9GB of free space.

I reinstalled Windows XP and tried it all over again but keep getting the same message.

    Ideas anyone?

    Thanks in advance!

RAM refers to the memory modules on your PC.
It is different from the HDD.
If you could post your PC specs, we should be able to spell things out for you.

Ok, I checked the 'system' and it says that I have 64MB of RAM. I really don't want to get a new system for the kids...how and what are my options? There is a local store that I deal with...

Chances are good that you can have another 64MB of RAM installed in this old computer. Take it to the local store to have this done. McAfee will slow this computer down terribly or totally. Go with free kaspersky or AVG antivirus

Will do. I had AVG but had some problems with it. I suppose as long as the kids are just using it for games and such, it's not a big deal. Thanks!
