Not updating?

I installed AVG 8 a couple weeks ago because it kept bugging me to so I finally did.
But my AVG 8 hasnt updated. . .manually or whatever you want to call it, since I got it. Everyday I hit the update button and everyday it says "No new update files found"
I dont know if its supposed to do that but I feel like it should have updated at least once since I installed it. . .
Right?

Hi

Did you have the free version to start with ?

If so to recieve updates in version 8 i think you will need to buy the licence for it as v8 is the non free version, i just kept ignoring it when it popped up until the offer date passed and now it leaves me alone.

I would reinstall it and see if it updates within a few days. Or ditch it and pick up Avira Antivir
