    Hi All,

We are using win 2008 R2 std edition as file server for apprx 800 users. Most of the time we find a service "NT Kernal & System" using most of the cpu. I downloaded procexp.exe and found that "srv2.sys+0x26010 and ntoskrnl.exe!kdpolBreakIn+0x1a0 using most of the cpu.

    Please advise..

    Regards,

As far as I can advice, replace Win2008 server with Ubuntu Server.

Replacing the existing system to another is not the solution until we get the strong point to replace.

Windows - expensive, needs maintenence, insecure, inefficient
Ubuntu (linux) - cheap (near-free), needs no maintenence, secure, efficient.

If it didn't have strong points, high-end networks wouldn't use linux. Windows servers are dying anyway. Such problems are expected.
