NTP Client Error Messages

The DC keeps crashing with this error.

The time provider "NTPClient" failed to start due to the following error. The system cannot find the file specified. (0x80070002).
Is this problem alone enough to keep restarting a server. Can I get some help to troubleshoot this issue. Thanks for the help

just shutdown the NTP service.

later, you need to investigate the settings for NTP.
what file is stated as missing on which OS (Specifically)?

The server is running Windows 2003 SP1. I do not know the file specifed because I am jsut looking in the event viewer after the fact. But if I shut down the NTP where will the servers and the rest of network get timing source?
