My monitor has low gamma by default so it's really dark when playing games and stuff. So i increased gamma to 1.30 in Nvidia CP. The problem is that those settings remain on next restart but the gamma don't. When i enter nvcp i see 1.30 gamma, but its still dark until i refresh those settings (like move one up and then down to 1.30). I hope you get what i'm trying to say. I'm using Windows 7 now, this didn't happen on Windows XP.

This could just be a simple case of needing to update the Nvidia drivers, check on there site for a newer version than the one you have.
