nvidia geforce fx5200

hi can any one help me please
i have the above graphics card installed in my pc (homebrew)
every now and again when i visit websites or go on to the chat rooms my screen just goes blank as if the pc has shut down
the light on the monitor blinks and i have to do a reset really starting to p me off now
does not happen all the time
using windows xp pro 60 gb hard drive

i have no idea if the above info will be of any help
but here's hoping someone can help with this problem

If this is only happening when you are online ,I don't think it is your Vid card. I would look at browser settings ,firewall ,etc. Also I would also run AV ,Adware ,spybot (or whatever you use)to make sure you have no bugs.

try to disable those annoying nView, nVidia Wizard, Multi-Monitor wizard and (i think) nVidia start up.
