Nvidia Ion 2 to be showcased at CES, launch next quarter

    According to Fudzilla, Nvidia told the site in a conference call that it would launch its Ion 2 graphics chip sometime next quarter. The GPU maker "went on the record" to say that the next-generation Ion chip won't be released at January's CES. However, many Nvidia partners at the event, including Asus, HP, Lenovo, and MSI, will showcase the chip.
