  1. nVidia has updated their nForce platform drivers, these new drivers contain an updated IDE driver...

However remembering the last nForce drivers nVidia have released I wont be the first one to install these, and as it is I have enough problems right now with data corruption on my new Epox 8RDA3+ mainboard.

Here are the differences between both sets:

    2.45 Drivers
    Audio driver 3.48 (WHQL)
    Audio utilities 3.48
    Ethernet driver 3.13 (WHQL)
    GART driver 3.34 (WHQL)
    Memory controller driver 3.38 (WHQL)
    SMBus driver 3.38 (WHQL)
    Installer 3.56
    Display drivers 44.03 (WHQL)
    USB driver

    3.13 Drivers
    Audio driver 3.66 (WHQL)
    Audio utilities 3.66
    Ethernet driver 3.63

    GART driver 3.34 (WHQL)
    Memory controller driver 3.38 (WHQL)
    SMBus driver 3.38 (WHQL)
IDE 2.0 NVIDIA driver 3.66 (WHQL)
    Display driver 52.16 (WHQL)
    Installer 3.77

First of all, where have the USB drivers gone ?

The 2.45 driver set is working perfectly for me so I don't see the need to upgrade as of yet.

I don't know if this driver release would help getting some extra sections of their system utility to work, allthough I would put my money on a BIOS update from the board makers to help that rather then a driver update.

This driver set ( 3.13 ) also has support for the Realtek audio codec so there's no need to download a separate driver for the Audio part ( for boards without the SoundStrom like the ASUS A7N8X Non-Deluxe boards ).:grinthumb
