Nvidia releases WHQL drivers, adds OpenGL 4.0 support

Nvidia has just released a new WHQL-certified driver (197.45) that covers essentially everything but the latest GTX models. This means all GeForce 6, 7, 8, 9, 100, 200 and 300 series graphics cards, as well as the Ion platforms. The latest release improves performance in Adobe CS5, adds support for MotionDSP's video enhancement software vReveal, brings additional SLI profiles and includes a bunch of game-specific performance enhancements.

There are also numerous bug fixes as well as an upgrade for PhysX System Software and HD Audio drivers to their latest versions -- 9.10.0129 and 1.0.9.1, respectively. Owners of the freshly launched (and still hard-to-find) GeForce GTX 400-series graphics cards can grab the 197.41 driver revision, which was officially released a couple of days ago, or head to Nvidia's Developer Zone for the WHQL-certified 197.44 with full support for Open GL 4.0 on Fermi-based cards and OpenGL 3.3 all other G80-based GPUs or higher.

Techspot, are you able to do just a few benches on the GTX480 on crysis? but with these drivers instead of the ones you used before? just intrigued if it has made any difference is all. If not don't worry, i'm still trying to weigh everything in for my next build

Anyone able to comment on how buggy this driver is? After the past half a dozen drivers, it's safer to just assume bugginess until proven otherwise.
