OCZ adds TRIM support to Summit SSDs

  1. Following Intel and most recently Corsair, OCZ has released a new firmware for its Summit solid-state drives which brings TRIM support to users of Microsoft's Windows 7 operating system and idle garbage collection for Windows Vista and XP users. Available from OCZ's download page, the VBM19C1Q update promises to restore performance on Summit drives back to new conditions by freeing space and consolidating blocks of data.

    Again it would be nice if the firmware updates didn't make you loose all data.
