Hey guys, I've been researching this for a bunch of hours, and I've seen things where people have had retail copies of XP on multiple computers, but I can't seem to find anyone who has done this with an OEM copy. I bought the OEM copy from Newegg knowing that I wouldn't receive the support from Microsoft and it would be married to one machine, but there have been times where others have said that, "Oh yeah I just upgraded my computer and now I need to reinstall," when really, they are installing it on a new machine.
In theory, should this work? Where I just say I upgraded my computer and need to reinstall? I have it installed currently on a desktop that I built, but plan to later install it on a laptop if at all possible. If it's really a huge problem, I could wipe XP from my desktop, as I have Vista on it too, but that's why I kept XP. For the compatibility issues.
So is that possible? Having OEM XP MCE on two computers at once?
