Ok, for you BF 1942's

    There are a couple of Demos; Secret Weapons of WWII (a souped up weapons version of BF1942), and Galactic Conquest (a Star Wars demo on the planet of Hoth) over at Fileplanet and or GameSpy. There are alternate sites, such as FileHell, which have the Secret Weapons Demo. Not so, for Galatic Conquest, registration required.

    I have Bf1942 and the expansion for it, I tried the demo for secret weapons, I didn't like it very much..I love the Desert Combat mod though...

    SWWII was much better than GC, but the potential of the maps, with a change of theme is really something (it really felt like you were on Hoth)......

    Desert Combat is excellent. It'll be a while till I can get my hands on the full version when it comes out, I'm gonna be stuck with .38d alpha for a while due to bandwidth troubles.
