I have a friend that called me about his computer. He had just moved it and hooked it back up and when he turns it on now he's getting one continuous beep that sounds much like a "flatline", you know..when someone dies? lol I've only heard it over the phone so far and don't have details on the computer specs and such, but i was wondering if anybody has had this problem before and could give me an idea on what hardware might be the issue. I was thinking RAM originally like maybe it disconnected while moving it, but I had him re-seat it and it's still doing it. Thanks in advance.

Good call, thank you sir for that extensive list. :grinthumb

Update: I got to see it for my own eyes and it was that the RAM was not all the way in. :p That computer was crammed so tight I had to take out the video card just to get the RAM to snap it!

things often get jostled during moving. It's always wise to reseat cards once settled.
