Opera Mini downloaded 2.6 million times from App Store

  1. Opera's mobile Web browser was cleared for the iPod and iPhone early last month and it has already become a top platform for Opera Mini. The Norwegian software company said in its State of the Mobile Web Report that a million App Store customers downloaded the alternative browser in the first day alone, and soared to more than 2.6 million by the end of April.

    Now if they would just ad flash support. All these phone browsers and ipads are useless without flash IMO.

    For flash support you need to use Opera Mobile instead. Problem with Opera mini is that its for lower end phones with less memory and flash uses up memory so they decided it wasn't worth providing it in Opera Mini.
