Overclocking my video card

hey guys, I had a recent storm that caused my GTS460 to pop, during the time i have to wait for the replacement I'm stuck with my old GT240. My question is....

Whats the best way to go about overclocking my video card. I tried RivaTuner224c but it don't recognise my drivers (Forceware 260.99 for win7).

its default values are

1024mb ddr3 128bit
GPU clock 550mhz
Memory 700mhz
Shader 1340
bandwidth 22.4GB\s

You can try using Driver Sweeper and install an older version of the drivers.

I personally like MSI Afterburner. You might want to give that a shot.

EVGA has a similar tool, EVGA precision, that also works pretty well.
