What kind of cooling would I need to get the E6600 Conroe overclocked to ~3.3Ghz? Think I can do it with just some Arctic Silver and some 120mm fans? Has anyone overclocked this CPU, yet?
Also, I heard this bit of info, which I found interesting, and I wanted to know if it was true. I heard that the best time to get an CPU to overclock is at the end of its production cycle... This is because if they're just finishing production on a ~300Mhz FSB model and starting a ~400Mhz FSB model, then sometimes the manufacturers will actually just produce all 400Mhz models and just clock some to 300Mhz... anyone know of the validity of this? I heard it was from overclocker.com or something.
