Overheating, new power cord

Hi everyone,

Im new to this site and I have a question. I have a Toshiba satellite A75 series. I know that it does over heat and it shuts off from time to time. I had to recently replace the power cord and the computer can run the internet fine but when I try to play world of warcraft it shuts off. All of the sudden it can not run wow and im just wondering if anyone has any idea why that might be.

A laptop has AC adapters, these adapters have power cords... I would say that is time to have it serviced. the cooling fans and fin assemblies may be clogged with dust and other debris... like cat hair
