P67A-GD65 mobo and 1600MHz memory support

So, I'm looking into the MSI P67A-GD65 (B3) motherboard for a new build. I was looking at the specs and it says it supports DDR3 at 1066/1333/1600/2133 MHz, but that it would need to be OC'd to get up to either the 1600/2133 MHz speeds. Basically I'm wondering if it's worth it to OC for the 1600 speed, and how exactly to do it.

Here are the specs of the build I'm looking at:
Mobo: MSI P67A-GD65 (B3) LGA 1155 Intel P67 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel
CPU: Intel Core i7-2600K Sandy Bridge 3.4GHz LGA 1155 95W
PSU: OCZ ModXStream Pro 700W Modular High Performance PS
Graphics:MSI R6850 Cyclone PE Radeon HD 6850 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16
HD: HITACHI Deskstar 1.5TB 7200 RPM SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5"

So the main questions are:
a. is it worth it to go for the 1600 speed memory over the 1333?
b. what do I need to mess with to get the memory running at the full 1600?
