PAE and a ramdisk drive question

  1. anyone ever make a ram drive with more than 4gb of memory
    xp pro PAE enabled system

    No sir... Windows with PAE enabled and more than 4GB of memory, sure... But a RAM drive for a PAE system? Nope. :(

    would ram drive made with memory channels run faster than the solid state drives like I-ram that work from sata channel.
    so with
    PAE enabled the first type should work great
    I would like to upgrade and run 8gb motherboard using 4gb for the OS
    loaded from flash drive
    or if that takes to long do movie rendering right from the ram drive
    I don't want to go 64 bit
