Pagefile is stuck at 0 (Windows Server 2003)

Hey all,

We've got this server hosting a few sites on it and it's been throwing memory errors while updating things for clients. Turns out the page file is set to 0. When we change it and close the window, it resets to 0. The performance monitor says 500MB~ of PF usage however... Any idea what's going on?

This server isn't stored in house, so we're a little limited to changes.

did you REBOOT after setting a new VM size?

Yes. It sets it back to 0 after rebooting, too.

not sure on Win2k, but investigate Security settings for the root C:\
should have full control for the SYSTEM & Administrators.

Boot into Safe Mode, delete the pagefile.sys and immediate use <ctl><alt><del> to reboot
