Hey guys, I've been looking around for some online programming and web-design courses.

I'm looking for courses with a live teacher who will be able to respond to emails and questions at a decent speed.
I was curious if you folk here at techspot knew of any decent priced online courses?

Thanks!
Gareis

Some well-known university in USA provided online-only courses that were a decent price. I can't remember though, sorry. But, on that note, I'd be looking at university courses that you can do off-campus. They are certified and go towards a degree.

Personally, it's a shame for me not being able to finish my two-year course in programming. Because I instead took up my degree in Management (already finished my dissertation last month) and also pursued a a degree in teaching in 2008. But I still remember the days that I made Java applets and some C++, glory days. :)

Hiya ^^

Well I can only show you some places where you can get it mostly
free. Perhaps you should investigate the following online learning sites:

https://www.udacity.com/

https://www.khanacademy.org/

https://www.coursera.org/

http://www.lynda.com/

http://www.codecademy.com/

http://www.code.org/learn/codecademy

I've just linked you to the basesites, so that you'll be able to get an overview
of all the many topics. Then you can check out if there's something which
piques your interest :). The last link is a site that acts as a hub for various
other sites that teach you how to code.

Good luck.
