Partion help

I want to add the 'unallocated' space to my partion D but when i go to 'resize a partion' and try to resize partion D to make it bigger it only lets me choose to get free space from my xp [C] and vista [G] partion but i want to use the unallocated space instead..?

how can i do this?

Can you delete the unallocated space partition? (not sure if this is classed as a partition)

The options for the unallocated partion are;

-create partion
-undelete partition
-properties

Actually I think it's a bit strange too. (obviously something simple I'm missing here)

Just create a NTFS partition and either:
Remove it again, and retry
or
Remove G drive (obviously back up G drive) and expand back the other way!!

Must be missing something here though

I use Partition Magic (outside of Windows) without a problem on this
