Password Problems

I recently acquired a Dell D620 laptop and can't access notebook due to lost password.How can I resolve this issue without having to send the notebook in to be serviced.

First of all,

You posted in the wrong forum.

Second of all,

Remove your main battery and set it aside, there's a small hidden battery compartment for BIOS, open it and disconnect battery, and let it sit for few minutes, and reconnect everything, and you should have your laptop back.

This only works with Latitude D6XX
