Patched.A Virus Help

  1. Windows 7 x64

    The computer in question is a laptop used by a family member, who tried to download some codecs. The codecs downloaded turned out to be the ever-infamous Patched.A virus. Some online solutions said to delete some files in the registry, however, such files aren't there. We've been chasing our own tails trying to get rid of this thing.

    Never mind, decided to use a Full System Restore to remove the threat
