PC beeps, won't boot

  1. I have a machine that's a few years old; it's a Dell Dimension L600r, Win98 I think (it's been a while since I had it running), and it won't boot up. When I power it up, it beeps; 3 beeps, a pause, repeat forever.

    Any ideas?? No, I don't have a rescue disk.

    3 beeps means not enough memory installed. I had pulled the memory for my father-in-law to try out, and forgot to toss it back in. :) :rolleyes: :haha:
