I have windows xp pro and when I do a shutdown on my PC it restarts instead of shutdown, I have to manually shut it down by holding down the power button...Any suggestions on how I can fix this???

You can FDisk your drive before you install XP just by using XP. It will give you the option at the very beginning of the install. Then you will need to partition it again and then it will format. Cheers...
