PC memory limit issue

Every time I run a different program while playing games the game minimizes and a dialog box appears saying my ram space is too small so cancel some programs for the game to run effectively but my ram is 6gb and when I check my task manager all those running programs including the game doesn't take more than 50% of ram usage ...please help

Well, you might have malware eating RAM in the background... or you might need a bigger pagefil.sys ( http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/virtual-memory-low-heres-fix/ )...hard to say.
