PC Randomly Restarts

Hello,

I have a Sony Vaio with: XP, P4 and 2G.

My PC keeps randomly restarting.

The event log reads:
System Error - Category 102 - Event ID 1003
Error code 1000007f, parameter1 00000008, parameter2 80042000, parameter3 00000000, parameter4 00000000.

I have also attached the minidump file.

Please help!

There's a better way of saying that
You just write "bump" as a single word reply, if there has been no replies after a couple of days
Note: All support members work freely here

Probably caused by : Unknown_Image

This error is very general
But in most cases it's a matter of updating all your manufacture drivers
Possibly running Memtest on your Ram
And also uninstalling any 3rd party Antivirus or firewall, possibly using another one (I normally recommend Avira )

By the way, pretty sure many of the regulars are away on holidays still, so we are not doing too bad with limited resource
