hya my PC keeps crashing (resetting. not just to windows) when entering certain games. a week ago my pc started crashing while i was playing League of Legends and Morrowind. both are, to my understanding, pretty easy on resources, (this is a PC that ran Crysis so Morrowind should be a piece of cake). i've played both games on this PC before and i had no trouble until a week ago. gradually the crashes got worse up to the point where I'd crash as soon as i enter the game. the reason this isn't in a software category is that i already re-formatted, reinstalled all the drivers and reinstalled the games. still crashes. the strange thing is that i installed some older games (Baldur's Gate 2, for example) and they cause no crashes, so it seems like there is a strain factor. sry if i'm mistaken and this is a software issue, but this is what makes sense so far. here are the PC details: since i'm not sure what these mean exactly, i'll copy everything straight off Sys Prop. if anything else is required please tell me where to check it Intel Core2 Duo CPU E8400 @ 3 GHz 3 GHZ, 3.25 GB RAM NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTS 512 i'm running Windows XP Pro (ver 2002) sp3, if that's relevant. so what is it? material exhaustion ?
