pc sounds like a vaccum

    hi
    My pc sounds like a vaccum and i don't know what is casuing it. recenlty speed decreased. i can't even turn on my pc and clamly use it. it sound so bad that i think it will burn down the house at anymminute. i really don't know why it's doing this?? any one with any ideas??

    Have yo looked inside? Could be the power supply or fans. Just for dust build up.

    erm. about the pc sounding like a vaccum. it turn off afetr somewhile.
    how do i speed went down. it takes longer than usuall to get to the net. pages take longer to load.

    Your HJT log is clean. However, I can`t find any evidence of a firwall on your system.

    You should consider getting one ASAP.

    The free Zonalarm and the free Kerio firewalls are both very good(Google for them).

    Whatever your problem is caused by, it`s not spyware etc.

    Check with you ISP for any problems in your area.

    i have opened it and cleaned the dust off. but no difference. it still sounds like a vaccum. it there any reason?? howard could you kindly give me the link to get zonealarm.
