Pc Wont Boot

What happened:

The dvd drive was locked up so I went inside my pc and pulled out the power cable(probably the worst thing i could've done).

What's happening:

When I boot up my pc the memory test turns out OK, but the IDE tests don't even initialize.

What i tried:

I tried different IDE ports, different power cables. I don't know what to do.

Try reversing the IDE cord. From where you connected it to the mob switch it towhere it now connects to the DVD drive.

That doesn't do anything i don't think it's an issue with the dvd drive

when i boot up w/o the drive connected the same thing happens

pc hangs during boot process after memory test
