Pc wont start please say my mobo isnt fried if it was wud it still run the disc drive

ok well i just got another computer off a friend it was a reasonably old one but i needed it for the mobo. When i got the pc inside it booted fine, but then i removed the mobo from it and now it wont start with my components. It will start the fan on the cpu ,make disc drives start, start the LED's and read the hard drives but nothing comes up on the screen. would be very grateful for any help, cheers in advance

Try resetting the BIOS using the jumper on the motherboard. Remove everything except your video card, the CPU and RAM and see if it boots.
