This might be a dumb question but will and PCIe video card work in a PCI slot?

oh and maybe another dumb question is there a pcie to PCI(vice-versa) adapter created or..will it be?(probably not)

There isn`t an adapter to convert PCI-E to PCI or viceversa. PCI is very slow (133MB/s) compared to PCI-E (4GB/s).
