I have not looked closely yet but when I saw the announcement of the Samsung 980 Pro NVMe M.2 SSD drives are hitting 7000MB/s and the announcement of the new Nvidia graphics cards, it started me thinking if there would actually be some bottlenecking happening on the graphics slot this time. We have never used all the bandwidth of the PCIe X16 Gen 3.0 slot in the past but these 2 technologies might finally prompt people to upgrade their motherboard?
