Hey techspot forums,
I am not sure if this is a problem, but aren't the Asus P5N-D motherboards' PCIE x16 slots supposed to run at 5000 MHz, rather then 2500? Mine runs at a stock 2500 MHz, and can be overclocked to 3000 which is the max.
I have read somewhere that since the slots are PCIE 2.0 it doubles from 2500 to 5000. But I have checked in GPUz and both slots are at PCIE x16 2.0.
Nvidia System tools report that the slot runs at 3000 max, once i have adjusted the base FSB from 100 to 120. So could the multiplier not be working properly for the PCIE bus?
