Philips SPD2411P Reading Problem

    MY PHILIPS DVD-RAM DRIVE CAN READ DVD-R DVD DISC BUT COULD NOT READ THE DVD+R DVD DISC...I UPDATED THE FIRMWARE THE LAST VERSION OF "BP03" IT WAS THE SAME PROBLEM AGAIN...WINDOWS SEEN THE DISC EMPTY....BUT MY DVD+R DVD's WORKS ON OTHER COMPUTERS....WHAT DO I GOING TO DO NOW ?....I NEED HELP IN THIS !

    1. Try a different brand of DVD
    2. Clean the DVD surface. get a disk cleaner and wipe HORIZONTALLY not circular to dry
    3. Buy a lens cleaner for your device
    4. Are you running XP or Vista? I'd also check on:
    => See what driver filters are installed
    => You can also try removing them / then reinstalled your DVD player / burner software so they are reinstalled
    => To start, you can use this tool to see what filters are installed are on your DVD player.
