    I'm having this issue with scanning a picture. Does anyone know what could be causing it?

    Have you consulted Kodak tech support. Vista is up to service pack 2... Why haven't you upgraded?

    I am totally confused. Multiple reasons why:

    1. What is the issue with scanning the picture? There are no details given.
    2. Kodak??? Photosmarts are HP printers (maybe someone else sniped the name too) but the C4280 is for sure HP.
    3. Vista? SP talk? I'm sure there are some cases, but they'd have to be rare, where a printer/scanner that did work, then stopped, would work again with a SP update.
    4. The reply just addressing the SP and not addressing what the problem is.


    Remove and reinstall the drivers is the only advice I have at this point.
