Physical dump error

  1. Hi i am having lots of memory dumps and don't know why , they started a couple of weeks ago after yrs of error free putering.

    i have a pcchips mother board p23g v3.0
    intel 6.8 duo core
    2 gig ram
    ati 256mb x1300 series graphics card(agp)
    windows vista home premium

    i just did a clean install after a couple of weeks of memory dumps
    and got this when i left my computer for a while

    Problem signature:
    Problem Event Name: BlueScreen

    also at the end of the blue screen was this error code
    physical memory dump error
    error code 0x00000124(0x00000000 0x85D5A238 0xB2000000 0x1040080f)

    can anyone please shed any light on what the cause is ...i have not fitted anything new ( no upgrades)
