This problem was fixed a while ago m8. Ill tell you how incase your having a similiar problem.

The bsod turned out to be his modem  its was a usb one at the time. That is why wherenever his computer was out his house noone else never got it. So he changed to ethernet. I suggest you check out your hardware

And the frezeing turned out to be the cpu overheating. His fan was clogged with dust and was causeing it to overheat every so often

    hope this helps you m8

    Details, please.

Dump files usually aren't much help. Please describe your specific problem in detail.

I think i may of solved it, There was an "unknown Device" listed as an exclimation mark in the hardware devices box and nothing would install it. but i DL'ed the Chipset drivers from Asus and it has been found.. yet it doesn't display what it was that it finaly found, yet it has just installed and now isn't showing as "unknown Device" instead its listed everything is now installed and working properly, But i have a wireless network card on a M2V Asus 64bit dual core mobo and everytime i open more than one IE window and then try maximizing one of the windows to fill the screen it will hang the PC.. it just freezes, no error, no blue screen, and it won't do it to anything else other than the net related windows.. If i disable the card and enable a USB wireless dongle it will work fine no probs.. (except the BSOD whichi think i have fixed)

Any ideas on that one at all? its surely baffled me lol

And yeah i have the latest drivers for the card,
I have tried two different types of D-Link PCI cards and now on a Netgear PCI card which is still freezing with all 3 cards.. but if a USB dongle is used the problems don't arrise. And i know what your thinking .. carry on using the USB adapter then, but i hate the little thing its unpredictable, sometimes the W/LAN will be lost and takes it ages to be found again while other PCI network comps will have no troble at all in my house ever.. so strange..

Just previewed my post and i have missed alot of commas out. But you'll get the jist of the post lol

    New thread needed.

I suspect that there is a device in your system with an IE plugin that is failing to access the device in question.

This is too far off topic from the original topic. You should start a new thread on the board for the the specific feedback you need for your problem. Otherwise, the only people clicking this link will be those people looking to address the problem of the original poster.

    My computer configureations is thus:
Windows vista on a 160 gb hard drive brand freakin new
2 sticks of 2 gb ddr2 ram 4 gb total
Intel core 2 quad cpu Q6600 @ 2.40 GHz OEM
    Nividia GeForce 8400 GS
XFX nForce 680i LT SLI mortherboard

I have like 12 fans total a dvd player, want wireless linksys thing for internet. i have taken this thing to geeksquad who dont know there **** from a whole in the ground, then toom it up too some guys who know some stuff about computers about 3 weeks ago i had another 160 gb, the found out it was a POS. but everything eles runs good, no overheating of any thing or such. now it gave me the same error like 12 time in half hour.
