Pictures in forwarded messages from microsoft Outlook Express 6.0 missing

To whom it may concern:

I am getting quite annoyed when I receive forwarded mail
(via outlook express 6.0) from certain friends and family and the pictures
in the emails are missing.

Can I do anything about it?

I am using microsoft IE6 with SP2 and Windows XP Home Edition with an AMD
Athlon T2200.

I would wecome any help.

Welcome to TechSpot

Click on Tools/Options and select Security tab.
Under Virus Protection is a box 'Do not allow attachments...'.
UNtick that and you should get your attachments back.

Be warned though what you open! There are tons of people out there to get you!
