Well, I'm guessing that unless your IT guys are all dullards, that theres a good deal of security worked into the system to prevent war-drivers/chalkers getting in. You really should talk to the network administrator and ask if there's any way they could set up a connection for you themselves.

Without breaking the security measures yourself (I don't reccomend even thinking about this, it's almost certain to be highly illegal) you won't be able to do it yourself.

We have several wirless base-stations scattered about the school and we're very particular about their security, and the range of reception for them. I'm assuming that since it's a network associated with students there'll be similar measures taken.
