Pink tinge display

    I have a Toshiba Satellite M40 laptop, about 2 years old now. It suddenly developed a pink hue/tinge all over the screen. Please help!

    That screen is on its way to failure. It will slowly darken and colors will worsen on one side of the screen... then at some time of its choosing, it will go black. You might try replacing the inverter. They are about $74 on eBay
