I bought a t.v. tuner card i am placing it very close to the video card should i be worried about heating. The PC does not run on full load all the time but sometimes it does for long hours also the room does get quite hot in summer. The case is just a local cheap case but so far no issues of cooling.

    Motherboard Intel DG31PR
    Video card nvidia 8400GS

The PCI x1 connector is just below the x16 connector & the fan of the gpu is blocked because of the t.v. tuner.

Rarely will you find this a problem unless the card is defective... but I would keep as much space as possible between the Video card and the TV Tuner... because of the heat damage risk to the Video card over time.

I don't have any other option there is just one connector each for both the cards. I cleaned out dust from fans before installing the card but still i don't want to risk anything here.
