I posted this in the ilounge forum this morning:
"I had a call this morning (10:35 EST) from a man with an English accent, but possibly not from England asking for credit card information. He told me that as I had not returned my apple earbuds after ordering a replacement, that I owed apple money and he'd need my credit card. I checked the support site and all of my repairs are completed. He knew my last name and he knew about me asking for earbud replacement. His number was 353-214-913001. Defitintely strange, can't be legitimate. I just wanted to give everyone on the boards a heads up - don't give any info!"
I was warned by one of the members that my computer might have been hijacked. Can someone please check my log file and try to pick out any problem areas? Any help would be much appreciated!
