Hi

I'm wondering if there is someone that has patience here with someone who knows hardly anything at all about computers. I was trying to install my norton anti virus but it wasn't installing properly so I tried un-installing it and re-installing once again. I continued to do this about 5 times and in the end gave up and turned my computer off. When I tried to turn my computer on the next morning all I could get was the "set up utility menu" . Any help you can give would be so much appreciated.

Couple of questions:

1. What version of windows are you running?
2. Can you get into safe mode?

What do you mean by "setup utility menu"? What options are you getting?

it's not really giving me options, at least i dont think
it says:

system time
system date
legacy diskette a (1.44M, 3.5 in)
legacy diskette b (none)
floppy 3 mode support (disabled)

primary master (auto)
primary slave (auto)
secondary master (auto)
secondary slave (auto)

language (english)
supervisor password (disabled)
user password (disabled)
halt on (all errors)
installed memory 512 mb

It's worth a shot. When you have that screen you describe above, try using your keyboard to navigate around in there. You should be able to change the settings.

I manged to get to halt on "all errors" and I changed it to "no errors" If this is what you mean, it still didn't work.
