Hi,

I am trying to download some forum posts with charts in them but some charts seem to be missing in some threads and some threads all charts are missing.

Can someone help me why this is so and what can I do to display them ?

Here are the links to some threads that have some charts missing :

What’s going on ? Are you seeing all charts or is it just me ?

Please help.

Thank You Much.

Looks like the charts are jpg files that are no longer on the server that they were posted from. The thread in your first link is 3 yrs old. I think that would be the problem. The pics of the charts are no longer there so you get that strange little icon instead.

ru1thirst,

If they are not on the server then how come some charts show up in the same thread on the same page in the first two links ?

I'm not seeing any of your charts. At least not any in jpg format. I see a few attachments. Anyway. The jpg type of charts are not linked usually on the server of the forum that you are viewing. The people that post the threads and answers are linking their jpg files of the charts on a site that they use to hold or store their pictures. So not everybody is going to be using the same site for their jpgs. No if anybody ever delets old jpgs to make room for more, then that chart or jpg that they used for the forum that you are reading is going to show an invalid link to the pic or chart now. That is why you get the little strange icon instead of the chart that you are looking for. Again, its an old, old forum thread. Go within that same site to look at new threads and see if you have the same problem viewing charts or jpgs.

Never mind. I see somebody answered your same question within that forum that you are referring to.

That is because the author of those posts has since removed or deleted the image files to which the links were pointing. Unless the author restores those image files at their original locations there is no way to view them
