 Please Help, My computer says it has a
\WINDOWS\CONFIG\SYSTEM32\CONFIG damaged or missing file.

When I went through the windows setup I entered into the first screen, then it was supposed to ask if I wanted to recover the files or install a new windows, but all it did was want to install a new windows.

I could reinstall but :hotouch: I DON'T WANT TO LOOSE ANYTHING ON MY COMPUTER!! :hotbounce
I have 2 partitions, 2 hard drives.

I was also told that I could hit R when it first starts up and it goes to the c:\ but I don't know what to type in from there. I think when I set up my computer the first time, I used my old hard drive along with my new one, so my old one is the c:\ and my new one is the e:\. All my files are on the e:\
How do I change it from c:\ to e:\ in the command prompt? I've tried everything like normal. Please help with examples.

My computer doesn't want to boot from my CDROM, I went into the Bios and changed my first boot to the CDROM and second to the Floppy and it still doesn't work. So I put my Windows on a set of 6 disks.

Please Help I don't know what to do!!!

 LISA
