Yes exactly that is what I am talking about.

Do you have any important data in your folders (i.e. on C:\ drive)?

yeah, i cant back them up because i cant access my computer or anything for that matter

IMHO you should take this system to a qualified technician near you as you'll have a much better chance of recovering your data and getting this thing fixed, because if you choose to use those 'Recovery Disks' which came with the system, you'll (most probably) loose all your data.

hi again, this morning i took out one of my ram cards, wiggled around with it, then put it back, then next time i booted it, it worked and i got onto my computer now. before i took the ram card out, it still did not work. what does this mean? do i still need to reinstall windows vista? and if i do reinstall vista, will the porblem be fixed or the ram could still have problems?

Backup your data before doing anything else.

You can't be sure about computers, but for now i'll advise you to hold and see how the system behaves. And if it crashes with blue screen again, please do post your minidumps for analysis.

By the way while going through your previous posts, I've noticed you have told Route about an BSOD with 'A' error code, now if that error code is with '1A' error code, it can also be an PSU issue, because usually OEMs like Dell sell their PCs with poor quality PSU which are just enough for needs thats about it. This same error can also mean that there are issues with RAM.

Lastly, its a good idea to service/clean your pc if you haven't done so in a long time.

SUN wasnt compatible with Vista at the start, have you applied all patches and updates for the game?

I also think drivers should be checked but wanted to post and second what Archean said about PSU, I would check the voltage in the BIOS if hardware monitor exist or with a multimeter even though this does not test the load. unless checked while gaming.

I change so many PSUs in the Summer that I loose count specially with OEMs!
