    Hello and welcome to Techspot.

    Go HERE and follow the instructions in the order they are given.

    Post a fresh HJT log, only after doing the above.

    Boot into safe mode. See how HERE. http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/tutorial61.html

    Turn off system restore.(XP/ME only) See how HERE. http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/tutorial56.html

    In Windows Explorer, turn on "Show all files and folders, including hidden and system". See how HERE. http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/tutorial62.html

    Run HJT with no other programmes open. Have HJT fix the following, by placing a tick in the little box next to(if there).

    R3 - URLSearchHook: (no name) - _{CFBFAE00-17A6-11D0-99CB-00C04FD64497} - (no file)

    O2 - BHO: Nothing - {edbf1bc8-39ab-48eb-a0a9-c75078eb7c8e} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\hpAB89.tmp (file missing)

    O16 - DPF: {0A5FD7C5-A45C-49FC-ADB5-9952547D5715} (Creative Software AutoUpdate) - http://www.creative.com/su/ocx/15015/CTSUEng.cab
    O16 - DPF: {6414512B-B978-451D-A0D8-FCFDF33E833C} (WUWebControl Class) - http://update.microsoft.com/windowsupdate/v6/V5Controls/en/x86/client/wuweb_site.cab?1142627826912

    Click on the fix checked button.

    Close HJT.

    Reboot into normal mode and turn system restore back on.

    Then, start a new thread in this forum and post a fresh HJT log, only after doing the above.
