Please look over my hijackthis log

  1. my computer keeps crashing and nortons cant find anything wrong any help you couls give with this would be great, the uploader wont let me use my .txt log file saying its the wrong type, sory for not following the rules


    Log incomplete, no good.

    Please do NOT start a new thread! Always continue your existing one!

    Ewido seems to have taken care of a lot. The following is mostly cosmetics.

    Boot in Safe Mode.
    Switch System restore OFF, see how here.
    In Windows Explorer, turn on "show all files and folders, including hidden and system". See how here.

    Next, run a HJT scan and (if still there) place a tick-mark in the little square before:

    Now click on the Fix Checked button in HJT. Exit HJT.

    Delete all files and directories from: C:\Documents and Settings\[username]\Local Settings\Temp
    Repeat this for ALL [usernames].
    Delete all files and directories from: C:\WINDOWS\Temp (except files dated from TODAY).
    Boot normal. When all OK, switch System Restore back on.
